Preparation and organization of training for biodiversity indicators and data management as part of the UNEP/GEF MSP

The general objective is implementation of the CCCD (Capacity Development for the Integration of Global Environmental Commitments into National Policies and Development Decision Making in BiH) project activities related to an indicator framework development and an Environmental Management Information System (EMIS) introduction to manage national environmental issues in accordance with MEA (Multilateral Environmental Agreements) guidance.

The specific objectives are to conduct the Desk review of existing sets of biodiversity indicators as well as data collection and reporting systems across responsible institutions and the GAP analysis of institutional needs for a functional indicator framework for biodiversity and implementation of a well-designed training programme for relevant stakeholders on biodiversity indicators and data management.

The Project requires completion of two studies on current state of biodiversity indicators framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina and implementation of a training programme on biodiversity indicators and data management for relevant stakeholders in public institutions and NGOs involved in the CBD reporting and biodiversity data collection and distribution.
