Position: Project Assistant
Job Purpose:
The Project Assistant will support the implementation of ongoing projects by assisting with administrative, logistical, and technical tasks. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional from a technical field who is eager to gain experience in environmental project work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing professional contribution to the results of the project on which he/she is a team member (e.g. reports, publications, strategies, presentations)
- Supporting the monitoring and control of project timelines and deliverables
- Preparing project progress reports
- Conducting research, collecting, and processing relevant project data and input
- Analyzing information related to project topics
- Compiling and formatting parts of project documents and outputs
- Maintaining project documentation and the internal filing system
- Providing support to the process of preparing new project proposals and business offers
- Assisting in project-level administrative and financial tasks
- Sharing knowledge and skills with colleagues and participating in personal/professional development workshops
- Actively using Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, for internal communication, collaboration, and archiving within the team and on the CENER 21 intranet
- Demonstrating professional behavior in line with CENER 21 values
- Filling in weekly work plans, timesheets, and individual task records in accordance with established procedures and deadlines
- Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively regarding assigned tasks
- Supporting the organization of meetings, conferences, and project/team activities

- Basic understanding of project administration and implementation
- Ability to collect, organize, and present data
- Interest in environmental and sustainability topics
Requirements:
- Completed Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (with only the Master’s thesis remaining) in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline).
- Previous experience is not required, but more than 1 year of experience in volunteer engagement and extracurricular activities will be considered as an asset.
- Experience in EU or donor-funded projects is an advantage, but not mandatory
- English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level
